At GTC, we believe in training and supporting the next generation of psychologists through a robust and innovative training approach
Training Areas
GTC offers practicum training for PsyD students in clinical or counseling psychology programs. Without a doubt, you will receive training at GTC that you won't get anywhere else.
Although the training year is tailored to your skillset, you can expect training competencies in diagnosis, individual psychotherapy, and program development. Based on skillset and fit, the option of a second year placement is available in which trainees will be offered training in the Low Energy Neurofeedback System (LENS), program development, supervision of other trainees, and clinical instruction.
The 2026-2027 training year begins June 1, 2026
Year One
What you can expect:
In person and virtual psychotherapy intakes and sessions
Observe LENS and Red Light Therapy sessions with Dr. Grechko
Shadow LENS group events
Attend conferences, networking events, etc. with Dr. Grechko
Attend all live trainings and access to all recorded trainings at GTC
Involvement in program development (if your skillset aligns)
Exposure to clinical instruction (if your skillset aligns)
Supervision with Dr. Grechko
Supervision with advanced practicum student
Year Two
What you can expect:
In person and virtual psychotherapy intakes and sessions
Provide LENS and Red Light Therapy sessions
Partner with Dr. Grechko at LENS group events
Attend conferences, networking events, etc. with Dr. Grechko
Attend all live trainings and access to all recorded trainings at GTC
Involvement in program development (if your skillset aligns)
Exposure to clinical instruction (if your skillset aligns)
Supervision with Dr. Grechko
Supervision of Year One practicum students
