Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in the Real World with Dr. Nancy Grechko

Join Dr. Nancy Grechko as she helps you better understand CBT beyond the worksheets and thought records. This workshop focuses on utilizing the fundamentals of CBT in the real world. This includes the real world inclusion of thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and unraveling core beliefs within the work clinicians are already using with their clients. This workshop is not about a strict protocol or homework and handouts but how to incorporate CBT into the work clinicians are already doing and aligned with the theories and interventions they love. Many of us are utilizing CBT and not giving ourselves credit for it. This workshop supports you in honoring the work you’re doing by documenting those CBT interventions that you didn’t realize you were “doing”.  This is a trauma- informed and flexible approach to demystify cognitive and behavioral therapy for the modern therapy space.

This workshop is highly experiential where participants will complete in-session exercises and leave with tangible tools (and handouts!) to incorporate into their work. NASW/CT approved for 3 continuing education credits.
