About the event

Join Dr. Nancy Grechko as we support restful sleep!

This workshop focuses on the gold standard, evidenced- based treatment: CBT for Insomnia (CBT-I). Many of our clients struggle with sleep whether it is falling asleep, staying asleep, or waking earlier than needed. This workshop equips practitioners with diagnostic and clinical presentations to better understand insomnia and what gets in the way of restful and productive sleep. With CBT-I, practitioners will feel better equipped to correct interfering sleep cognitions and behaviors. Practitioners will learn how to provide psychoeducation, sleep restriction, stimulus control, relaxation exercises, and cognitive exercises to correct faulty expectations, cognitive distortions, and false beliefs that interfere with sleep.

You’re going to leave this training with A LOT of material!

NASW/CT approved for 3 continuing education credits.
